Arani is the Sanskrit name for the kindling sticks that ancient wisdom keepers used to ignite the divine fire. We all have arani within us and with a little friction we can ignite our own divine inner flame — illuminating ourselves and providing light for others also seeking truth and authenticity.

Deva Arani: Compassionate Inquiry Facilitator, Author, Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Teacher, Integration Life Coach

I wish I could show you when you are lonely or in darkness the astonishing light of your own being.
— Hafiz of Shiraz

For the last 20-plus years I have been exploring personal growth and meditation practices from around the world. I have spent considerable time in India and South America working with teachers in various modalities to heal and for personal understanding. I have been entrusted with holding space for people by wisdom keepers and I organize retreats and trips for fellow seekers. In addition I work with individual clients using a combination of meditation, life coaching, and kundalini yoga/breathwork.

If you are feeling stuck, it is most likely because you are not tuned in to your own inner wisdom. People often find themselves caught in patterns that do not serve their true self or purpose.  They are in essence caught akimbo and can’t access the internal resources to commit to themselves and who they are underneath all the layers of familial and societal conditioning.  Change is difficult both because of one’s internal structures built for safety and security; and our external reality, with others expectations and beliefs about who we are and how we should live.

I am a Compassionate Inquiry Facilitator and integrative life coach. In any given session withy clients I might use coaching, inquiry, somatic experiencing, breathwork, movement and/or meditation to help them push through obstacles and adaptive patterns such as anxiety, procrastination and depressed energy. My sessions are focused around helping my clients tune in to themselves to understand and heal, and move beyond the past by being present in the Body. Now.

Tapping into one’s inner wisdom takes commitment and discipline.  Meditation and other awareness practices are essential.   I am committed to helping my clients find the right techniques for their lives and personalities with support and follow through.  As a meditation teacher, I am happy to help develop a daily mediation practice right for you.

I am a KRI certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher and I interweave these teachings into all of my work. I also meet with clients one on one to design a home practice for their own daily use and offer classes locally. In addition to Kundalini Yoga and Breathwork, I am also an Osho Meditation Facilitator.

I am passionate about these offerings because they work - and because NOW is the time to embrace who you really are and what your intentions are for this precious life. My purpose is to help you find the right friction to feed your inner fire.

My life has unfolded in a beautiful pattern and allowed me to experience and explore many ways of being and living.  I have a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, and a Juris Doctorate in Law from the University of Colorado. I have been blessed to be able to explore, experience, practice and share many different modalities of self-awareness and meditation.  I am committed to my own healing, self-understanding and self-awareness and to being of service to my brothers and sisters here, now.

The journey is the destination.
— Osho

I received this certificate earlier this year and I have to say that I feel so privileged to have been in this program. I am honored to share this healing approach with my clients and excited to continue to develop my healing tool kit! Yea!
